ERA 1

Creation

God creates the world and creates man (Adam). Then, Adam sins and destroys God’s original plan for man.

ERA 2

Patriarch

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, successive generations of the same family, ruled over the Hebrew people in the earliest days of their existence.

ERA 3

Exodus

The Exodus was the mass movement of the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt back to the Promised Land of Canaan.

ERA 4

Conquest

After the Israelites had wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, they were at Jericho and needed to resolve to forge ahead and not shrink from their circumstances the way their fathers had done…

ERA 5

Judges

This was a dark period for the Jewish people. They lost their spiritual moorings. Everyone did what was right in their own eyes. This was a “morally degraded, socially perverted and spiritually bankrupt time of almost 400 years.

ERA 6

Kingdom

Israel wanted “total freedom” to ignore the directives of God. As a result, the Kingdom Era was a very stormy time with many ups and downs… a righteous king would prosper and an unrighteous king would falter… in the down times the nation collapsed and suffered at the hands of warring neighbors.

ERA 7

Exile

The lesson of the Kingdom Era is that while God forgives whoever comes to Him in repentance, that doesn’t change the fact that sin has consequences. These are manifested in the Exile Era.
Daniel gives leadership and encourages faithfulness among the exiles for the next seventy years.

ERA 8

Return

Ezra leads the people back from exile to rebuild Jerusalem.
God has allowed his people to return from exile to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple and the city walls.

ERA 9

Silence

The religious leaders of the Silence Era pretended to have power and they became self-absorbed.

All this pride caused a pattern of religious hypocrisy that was leading to self-destruction and made this period one of the most disappointing in the nation’s history.

ERA 10

Christ

The Christ era covers the time since our Lord Jesus Christ took flesh, ministered and preached the Kingdom of God, was crucified, resurrected and ascended into the heavens. In this way, the Divine plan for Mankind redemption and salvation was completed.
Jesus Christ is God incarnate.

ERA 11

Church

The Church era covers the formation of the Christian Church by the apostles after Jesus ascension into the heavens. In His unconditional love, God accepts all nations, Jews as well as Gentiles.
Jesus Christ is God incarnate.

ERA 12

REVELATION

Last book in the New Testament, written by John the beloved while in exile at Patmos island.

This book reveals events to come leading to judgment day and reveals the rewards for those who conquer, and also reveals the glory of the heavenly Jerusalem.
